Getting There

BC Place sits in central Downtown Vancouver. The Stadium-Chinatown SkyTrain station (Expo and Millennium Lines) is a 2-minute walk from the main gate. SkyTrain runs extended hours on match nights — the most convenient stadium access in the tournament.

  • Canada Line connects YVR Airport to Waterfront, then Expo Line to Stadium-Chinatown
  • Multiple bus routes serve Pacific Blvd corridor on match days

Rideshare

  • Rideshare pickup is practical but traffic on Pacific Blvd and Georgia backs up post-match
  • Walk toward Cambie St or Homer St for faster post-match pickup
  • Pre-book scheduled Uber or Lyft for your return to hotel before the match starts

Driving and parking

  • BC Place and the Plaza of Nations area has limited game-day parking — pre-book strongly advised
  • Parking at Pacific Centre or Robson Square and walking in is a solid option
  • Granville Bridge and False Creek routes can grid-lock after full-capacity matches

Walking and biking

  • Downtown Vancouver to BC Place is walkable from most central hotels — 10–20 minutes
  • Mobi Bike Share has docks throughout Downtown and False Creek
  • The Seawall path runs from Coal Harbour to False Creek — beautiful pre-match walk

Match-day tips

  • SkyTrain is genuinely the best option — fast, reliable, and no parking headaches

  • Food options in BC Place are good but pricey — eat in Yaletown or Gastown before the match
