How we write guides

Independent by design

We are not an official partner, reseller, or hospitality agent for any event. That independence is the point: it means we can tell you that a grounds pass beats a show court ticket in week one, or that the cheapest useful hotel is in the next city over.

Practical over promotional

Our guides lead with logistics. Which train, which terminal, which neighbourhood, how long the queue runs after the final whistle. Anyone can tell you an event is exciting. Fewer people will tell you the stadium is 20 miles from the beach.

Evergreen where possible

City knowledge outlives any single tournament. Stadium transit, hotel districts, and sports bar neighbourhoods stay useful long after an event ends, so our destination guides are written to be maintained rather than retired.

Honest about what we do not know

When an organiser has not confirmed dates for the next edition, we say so rather than presenting an estimate as fact. Dates flagged as unconfirmed are exactly that.
