Barcelona play at Camp Nou in the Les Corts district, well west of the tourist core. The stadium has been through a phased rebuild, reopening in stages with changing capacity and access routes, and home fixtures have been played elsewhere in the city during parts of that work. It is the one major European club trip where the first planning step is confirming which ground you are actually going to.

Barcelona rewards a longer trip: the city is worth three days on its own, and the match slots into it rather than defining it. The practical risks are venue confusion during construction phases and pickpocketing on the Metro around big fixtures, which is a more serious problem here than in most European football cities.
Getting to Camp Nou

Metro Line 3 (Palau Reial, Les Corts) and Line 5 (Collblanc, Badal) all sit within a 10 to 15 minute walk of different gates. Line 3 also runs straight down to Plaça de Catalunya in the centre. Aerobús and Metro Line 9S connect the airport, though the airport link needs a change to reach Les Corts.

Plan around this
- Confirm the venue for your specific fixture. Renovation phases have moved home matches to another ground in the city.
- Keep phones and wallets in front pockets on the Metro. Pickpocketing around big matches is a real and persistent problem.
- Kickoffs run late. A 21:00 start puts you back on the Metro close to 23:00.
- Walking one Metro stop before boarding is significantly faster than queuing at the nearest station after full time.
