Miami Dolphins Travel Guide
The Dolphins have played at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens since 1987, about sixteen miles north of downtown Miami. The club is best known for the undefeated 1972 season, still the only one in the modern history of the league. A major renovation added a shading canopy and rebuilt the seating bowl, and the surrounding campus now hosts a Formula 1 circuit, a tennis tournament and matches in the 2026 North America tournament.

Depending on the month, the same site hosts NFL football, a Grand Prix on a purpose-built circuit in the car parks, a major tennis event and international soccer. The complication is the location: it is not in Miami, there is no rail link, and the heat and afternoon thunderstorms are a real planning factor from June through September.
