Hard Rock Stadium
Hard Rock Stadium is in Miami Gardens, about 16 miles north of South Beach, and it is one of the most heavily multi-purpose venues in American sport. The campus hosts NFL football, the Miami Open tennis tournament in a purpose-built complex, and a Formula 1 Grand Prix on a circuit laid out around the stadium itself. Planning a visit to Hard Rock Stadium
- Check what else is on. The tennis complex and Grand Prix build-outs change access, parking, and traffic patterns around the stadium for weeks either side of the event.
- Florida heat and afternoon thunderstorms are real planning factors from May through September. The canopy shades seats but does not cool them.
- Book parking in advance for the Grand Prix. Day-of parking around the campus is expensive and slow to exit.
- Rideshare after a sell-out is a long wait. Event shuttles are usually faster despite the fixed schedule.
